Originally from Los Angeles, California, Kirsten Nicolaisen is now a Brooklyn-based freelance photographer specializing in street and travel photography, weddings and portraiture. With a background in journalism, she’s honed an eye for storytelling, blending authenticity with artistry to capture candid moments and genuine emotion. She’s inspired by beauty found in the details — the quiet glances and fleeting expressions that make each love story unique. She shoots digital and 35mm/120mm film.
