Kirsten Nicolaisen is a photographer based in New York City. She focuses on documentary-style storytelling, with her background in the news industry influencing her photography practice. 

 

She’s currently working on a project about the Camino de Santiago — its various routes which she has thru-hiked and experienced, with more on the horizon. 

 

Kirsten is a member of Camera of the Month Club, a New York City photography collective, and works as a wedding and hospitality photographer. Additionally, she applies her years of experience in corporate media to freelance work as a social media consultant and content producer. 

 

Kirsten grew up in Los Angeles, California and now lives in Brooklyn.
