Kirsten Nicolaisen is a freelance photographer and media producer focusing on authentic, documentary-style storytelling in all forms. Her background in the news industry for ten years has greatly influenced her photography practice.  

 

She’s currently working on a photo project about the Camino de Santiago — its various routes which she has thru-hiked and experienced, with more on the horizon.

 

Kirsten is a member of Camera of the Month Club, a New York City photography collective, and works as a wedding and hospitality photographer. Additionally, she applies her years of experience in corporate media to freelance work as a social media consultant and content producer. 

 

Kirsten grew up in Los Angeles, California and now lives in Brooklyn, New York.
