Oregon Public Broadcasting

Kirsten was one of two students selected from the University of Oregon School of Journalism & Communication for a paid, prestigious internship with Oregon’s NPR affiliate, Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB). During her time at OPB, Kirsten produced and wrote daily segments for the popular news talk show ‘Think Out Loud’, pitched segment ideas to a team of producers, pre-interviewed guests, and managed social media and phones during live broadcasts. She also wrote and voiced daily news spots and repackaged radio content for opb.org
