As a social media and audience engagement editor for one of the largest daily papers in the US — the New York Post — Kirsten was responsible for optimizing original content and breaking news for social media. She even claims responsibility for packaging and posting to social the most clicked-on story in the history of the Post. 


Kirsten was instrumental in COVID-19 coverage, including live-tweeting Governor Cuomo’s daily briefings. She also had major success growing platforms, increasing the NYPost Instagram audience by 50% and growing clicks back to site through Instagram by more than 500% in four months. Additionally, she increased Facebook video views by more than 1,000% in five months. 


Kirsten was also a key player in the NYPost TikTok account launch and on-camera presence — garnering 1 million video views in its first month live.
